Marcel Martino is a senior healthcare executive with over 35 years of progressive experience in healthcare management. Prior to his appointment as President and Chief Executive Office at Inspire in 2007, Marcel held senior administrative positions in various healthcare settings. His extensive hospital based experience spans nearly 20 years, having served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer in several organizations. Marcel has comprehensive experience in all aspects of operations, including facilities and budget management, program development and implementation, strategic planning and business development. He has developed an extensive network in healthcare which allows him to benefit the operation and growth of any company he has operated.

In addition to his extensive hospital based experience, Marcel possesses expertise in private business operations and management. At Paxxon Healthcare Services, he engineered a turnaround situation bringing the company from gross revenues of $3 million to $10 million and establishing the company as a full-service rehabilitation company.

Since joining Inspire, Marcel has initiated and implemented several new programs, such as a preschool satellite in Newburgh, assistive technology program for children, Swim Kids (teaches children with disabilities to swim), E-Mod Program to provide modifications to homes for people with disabilities, and a hearing aid dispensing program which is an adjunct to the audiology services provided by Inspire.

Marcel's strategic, financial and leadership skills are essential to meeting the challenges within today's healthcare environment. He holds a baccalaureate degree from Manhattan College and a Master's in Business Administration/ Healthcare Administration from Wagner College. In addition, Marcel effectively contributes to the community by serving on various non-profit Boards of Directors.
