Emergenuity is a healthcare consulting company that exclusively manages Emergency Department Overcrowding (EDO) utilizing three arms of our practice:

• Re-design and Re-configure Processes of Care
• Informatics and Metrics
• Electronic Decision Support Tools

Todd Warden MD, a residency-trained Emergency Medicine Physician, founded Emergenuity in 1999. He has 25 years of ED management experience and has had "hands on" management involvement with over 100 EDs nationally and over 1,000 ED physicians. This experience has culminated in the development of a "programmatic" approach to the management of ED Overcrowding (EDO).

As part of this program we re-design and re-configure ED processes of care so that they drive the behavior of the staff that is desired to enhance ED performance. Rather than tell the staff what to do and how to do it, the new processes are designed to move the staff to the appropriate actions that support improvement. Dr. Warden actually "models" the appropriate behavior as the new re-designed processes are laid out and "mentors" the ED leadership in use of the methodologies and techniques that will support the change and create lasting improvement.
